이 작품은 망각 속에 사라진 이름들을 위한 기념비입니다. 멕시코와 한국, 두 문화의 상징을 단청의 리듬 속에 새기고, 벽이라는 공간에 기억과 저항, 그리고 연대의 메시지를 담았습니다. 한국이민사 120주년, 멕시코 유카탄주 메리다시의 멕시코한국이민사박물관의 리모델링 공공벽화 설치사업으로 기억의벽 El muro de la memoria 이 텀블벅펀딩, 후원등으로 완공됩니다.

This piece is a mural-inspired composition that pays tribute to forgotten voices. Korean Dancheong (단청) decorative patterns blend with Mexican mythological symbols : a phoenix, a serpent, a jaguar, a pyramid each layered in a story of resilience and collective memory.

El Muro de la Memoria es una ofrenda visual dedicada a los ecos del pasado colectivo. Inspirado en la tradición del muralismo latinoamericano y las pinturas decorativas coreanas, este mural fusiona símbolos de dos mundos como el fénix, el jaguar, la serpiente, el dragón y el nopal para narrar historias de migración, resistencia y pertenencia.Cada figura, cada color, es un fragmento de memoria: una cicatriz, una celebración, una oración silenciosa heredada por generaciones. En esta obra, el muro no divide, sino que recuerda. Se convierte en un espacio sagrado donde lo personal se transforma en colectivo, y donde los recuerdos olvidados encuentran forma, color y voz. El Muro de la Memoria no solo honra el pasado, sino que invita a imaginar un futuro donde nuestras diferencias se entrelacen como parte de una misma historia.
